Property developers

We act for developers with regard to the acquisition of land or property for development. Our involvement includes checking anything in the title which could hinder development, preparing deeds for new freehold properties, and drawing up leases for new developments and conversions. Transfers of equity

Equity transfers may be applicable when a person who is already registered as the proprietor of a property remains on the deeds. A second party may also need to be transferred off or onto the title. The transfer may be ‘subject to a mortgage’ (where the existing mortgage is being retained), the property may be re-mortgaged, or there may be no mortgage at all.
