For the eighth year running, 6 members of Barrett & Co Solicitors LLP took part in this year’s Reading Legal Walk, which took place “after work” hours on 12th July 2021.
The walk consisted of a 10 km route around Reading to raise money for local advice centres in and around the Reading and Thames Valley area. These advice centres assist thousands of vulnerable people in preventing homelessness, resolving debt related matters, obtaining care for the isolated elderly and the disabled, and fighting exploitation. This year we are raising funds for FLAG DV, Age UK Reading, and Reading Refugee Support Group.
We have been able to join in this inspiring event for the last eight years and have so far raised £200.00. The team, represented by Emma Docking, Aadil Khan, Ella Dalton, Juliet Parr, Chris Miller and Sarina Saini took part in an enjoyable walk through Reading.
The total raised by all walkers so far, set a new record of £15,180 which continues to rise.
We would like to thank all those who have provided donations to date and also to mention that we would still welcome and appreciate any further donations. If you have any spare change, please do donate to our Virgin Money Giving page here. We also thank Beaufort Financial for sponsoring the event and handing out goodie bags to keep everyone going.
From all of us at Barrett & Co Solicitors, thank you for your continued support.
