This month we witnessed National Grief Awareness Week from the 2nd-8th December and this year, perhaps more than any other year, highlights the importance of recognising grief, supporting those experiencing grief and becoming aware of the support systems available.
Barrett and Co Solicitors are proud to support and work alongside the Good Grief Trust and this year Barrett and Co Solicitors showed support to the charity raising awareness of the National Grief Awareness Week.
Staff at Barrett and Co Solicitors donned t-shirts displaying the tagline for this year’s National Grief Awareness Week, #shareyourstory in support and to try to raise awareness of the fact that there are helpful resources out there for those experiencing loss and bereavement.
The Good Grief Trust is a charity set up by people who have experienced bereavement and their aim is to “bring all bereavement services together around the country, to ensure that everyone receives the support they need to move forward with their lives and to encourage talking about grief in a more honest, straightforward way, help to make the pain a little more bearable”.
The Private Client Team at Barrett and Co deal with estates when people die, and one aspect which sets Barrett and Co apart from other firms is that each member of the team is equipped to work alongside each client throughout their journey and to make sure that not only are the legal elements dealt with but also that clients feel supported throughout the process.
Barrett and Co offer tailored advice from the very early stages of what to do when someone has very recently died; through to dealing with the whole estate administration process.
