Megan (affectionately known as Megs) is a senior legal support assistant and assists the private client team and the firm at large.
Megan is originally from Melbourne, Australia, and in 1992 she embarked on a ‘working holiday’ to the UK, where she met her English husband and they then both travelled and worked in the United States, before returning to the UK.
Once back in the UK, Megan joined Barrett & Co in 2001 when our Private Client team was her and Hilary and she has seen the team expand and grow to what it is today! She is an invaluable asset to the firm and assists in a whole manner of ways from training new starters to updating our case management system.
Megan has said that the family style relationships within the Private Client team, and the firm as a whole, is what makes Barrett & Co such a great place to work. She also adds, although it has been a challenge working through the Covid-19 period, the firm has been incredibly supportive of all members of staff and accommodating in putting flexible working in place to keep staff members and their families safe.
In her spare time, Megan enjoys walking, biking and travelling back to Australia to visit her family and family life in general.
