Nick Buckle has been given the chance to run for the London Legal Support Trust at the Big Half Marathon on 10 March 2019.
The half marathon, also know as the Vitality Half, is held in London and is in its second year. It was heavily publicised at its conception and as such, it has attracted some of the world’s best distance runners both internationally and domestically.
Mo Farah will again be toeing the line on 10 March to defend his crown from 2018. More information can be found on the run’s website.
Nick is particularly excited about competing in this year’s event because he will be running on behalf of the London Legal Support Trust. The LLST is a great charity who raise funds for free legal services in London & the South East. They “support the provision of specialist legal advice through law centres, advice agencies and citizens advice bureaux by providing them with grant funding alongside other forms of support”.
More information on the charity’s inspiring work can be found on London Legal Support Trust’s website.
Nick is aiming to raise £300 for the charity and would welcome donations from far and wide! Please click here to visit Nick’s fundraising page.
Nick is a keen distance runner and captain of the established club Belgrave Harriers. He is glad to be racing again after an injury-plagued 2018. Nick is aiming to improve on his current personal best over the distance and hopes to be finishing amongst the best domestic club runners.
