For the fifth year running, 11 of us from Barrett & Co took part in the Reading Legal Walk. This took place “after work” hours on 24 September 2018.
The walk consisted of a 10km route around Reading with the aid of raising money for local advice centres in and around the Reading and Thames Valley area. These advice centres assist thousands of vulnerable people in preventing homelessness, resolving debt related matters, obtaining care for the isolated elderly and disabled, and to provide assistance to victims of domestic violence and trafficking.
Our brilliant team have so far raised £220.00 with donations still be counted!
The team, represented by Megan Aedy, Hilary Buckle, Samantha Carling, Emma Docking, Charlotte Fox, Richard Ince, Ailsa Mellan, Chris Miller, Eleanor Pearson, Maxine Rendell and Justin Sadler, all took part in the lengthy walk through Reading. We were lucky enough to catch the rays on this sunny, but cool evening.
We would like to thank all those who have provided donations so far and to also mention that we are still welcoming and appreciate any further donations for this worthwhile cause. If you have any spare change, please do donate to our Virgin Money Giving page, or to pop by our offices and make a donation.
From all of us at Barrett & Co Solicitors, thank you again for your continued support.
