Hilary Buckle
Hilary Buckle obtained a degree in law in 1979 and passed her Solicitors final exams the following year.
She completed her training and qualified as a solicitor in 1982.
Since then, she has specialized in probate, wills and trust matters, working in Westminster and High Wycombe. After seven years in charge of a probate department, she moved to Barrett & Co where she is now a partner, specialising in all aspects of private client work.
Hilary has written articles on probate and trust matters for a national publication and lectures regularly at retirement seminars.
Hilary is a member of the Thames Valley branch of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and regularly attends meetings which are a valuable means of sharing and exchanging information with other specialists, and keeping up to date with changes in the law in this area. Hilary is also a member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE).
Hilary is a school governor of two schools in Berkshire and she is also deputy organist for her local village Church.
Hilary's interests include theatre going, gardening and keeping hens.
