Debt Recovery

We offer a full debt collection service to all clients, both commercial and private.

Debt collection usually begins with a letter of claim sent to the debtor. If further action is necessary, we will use all appropriate legal remedies available to you to recover your money.

Before issuing proceedings, you should consider whether the debtor has the means to pay your debt.  If not, then a court judgment may effectively be unenforceable and only serve to increase the money outstanding.  If you do obtain judgment then there are a variety of enforcement options available to you.

As Solicitors, we have an advantage over simple debt collection agencies in that we have experience in acting for both debtors and creditors, from the initial letter of claim right through to representation at court and the enforcement procedures.
