Rhiannon Lanning and Rob Jefferies kicked off the event. Chocolate was the theme that day with Rhiannon baking chocolate brownies which were richly decorated by Lindt chocolate balls and edible Christmas decorations. Not to be outdone by Rhiannon, Rob made a delectable dark chocolate torte.
Hilary Buckle, Senior Partner, also joined in the festivities, creating reindeer cupcakes. Hilary was especially creative with the antlers using Curly Wurlies. We also had a delightful Victoria Sponge, courtesy of Paul Wild, our Family Partner.
It has not just been about sweet things, Charlotte Fox made savoury mature cheddar and pancetta twists with a hint of mustard.
Sadly it has not been plain sailing, we tragically lost a cake when it fell on the floor. It had made it all the way into work but failed at the last hurdle when the baker tried to open the door to the office and it fell from her hands.
After a close voting process, the winner was announced as Hilary's reindeer cupcakes.
