Barrett & Co's Jane Whitfield on BBC Radio7th Feb 2017

Listeners to BBC Radio 4's PM programme have been following Steve Hewlett's open, honest and darkly humourous commentary on his own battle with oesophageal cancer throughout 2016, which sadly ended on February 20th 2017, when he passed away with his family beside him at the Royal Marsden Hospital. Fewer that two weeks earlier, he appeared on PM to tell the story of his happy but hurriedly-arranged marriage to his long-term partner Rachel. Numerous listeners to the programme wrote in to PM to warn Steve that he should be making a new will as soon as possible. And Barrett & Co's Jane Whitfield was invited to talk to Eddie Mair to give her professional advice.
